Dr. Shockley hosts renowned historian at ESC

Forty eight teachers from 11 school districts learned about the American West from a renowned historian at the Gallia Vinton ESC.
Dr. West presented two days of instruction for teachers who were also presented a copy of his book. Dr. West was enjoyed by all and many teachers requested his autograph. This program is an extension of the classroom to allow teachers real life experiences that they will hopefully tranfer into their classrooms to benefit student instruction.
