Landmark Moments Fellowship History Teachers Explore World War II

   Local History Teachers continued their study of history through visiting historical sites and receiving first hand knowledge through a grant awarded to the ESC.  This is a continuation of several years to provide teachers with extended knowledge in their field of study in order to enhance their students learning.  This year's trip was to visit New Orleans and Pearl Harbor.   They met with World War II Veteran Herb Weatherwax (age 99) who works to educate those who come to the Arizona Memorial of the day in history when the Japanese attacked the United States.
