BHCC and Gallia Vinton ESC Coordinate 8th Grade Palooza

This annual event has been expanded from last year to include sixth through eighth graders from area middle schools to participate in multiple opportunities to experience different careers in a week long setting.
The sixth graders have already completed their career explorations before school ended.
Eighth graders are meeting this week to explore their top four Career Choices.  This begins with exposure to many different careers for the first two days of the week with instructors at Buckeye Hills Career Center.  After this adventure students will visit local businesses or job sites to get first hand opportunities in several of their career choices.  Once they have had the opportunity to experience these careers they will select an area that they would be interested in pursing as a possible career.  The week long adventure will conclude with a visit to Columbus in this area of expertise with Professionals in this field.
