Gallia-Vinton Education Service Center is excited to host Annika Moore, Education Program Specialist, for the Mathematics Office of Learning and Instructional Strategies. 

Participants in this training will focus on the following: 

* Evidence-based instructional strategies for problem solving and working collaboratively.  (John Hattie, Visible Learning)

* Vertical alignment using Ohio's Progressions, Performance Level Descriptors and an overview for deconstructing content standards, along with, the Mathematical Practices. 

* Depth of Knowledge and designing tasks for a standard at all four levels. 

There is a follow-up to this training with Annika Moore facilitating on March 10, 2020.

Math Teachers, Intervention Specialists, Building Principals, Curriculum Directors, Instructional Coaches, and Representatives from other Education Service Centers.
