Mural artist, Angie Underwood, is shown with a couple of the murals she designed and painted at Gallia Academy Middle School. The murals are helping to create a culture at the school to increase interest in reading. Several other mural designs are located in the library. Circulation rates are soaring since more students and classes are visiting the library. The mural project is provided in part through a federal grant awarded to the Gallia-Vinton ESC for Innovative Strategies in Literacy.
