Robin Phillips, Gallia-Vinton ESC Associate and Region 16 State Support Team member, arranged and facilitated a Guidelines for Assessment and Instruction in Statistics Education (GAISE) training at the ESC in Rio Grande. Area middle school math teachers attended the training conducted by Jerry Moreno, Assistant Professor Emeritus of Statistics, John Carroll University. The teachers learned much during the professional development and were excited to take back hands-on activities to incorporate into their lessons for students.
