The Resident Educator Summative Assessment (RESA) is an important component of the four-year residency program for teachers. RESA requires beginning teachers to demonstrate proficiency in implementing the instructional learning cycle in order to receive a professional license. The evaluation consists of the teachers submitting a video of their classroom teaching and providing written responses reflecting on all parts of the learning cycle. The submissions are assessed by an external organization to measure the teachers' levels of  performance.100% of the 44 Resident Educators in the Gallia-Vinton ESC service area that participated in the 2017-2018 RESA met or exceeded the passing score!  The Gallia-Vinton ESC wishes to congratulate the novice educators and their mentoring teachers for the outstanding results!
