
On December 2, 2024, Fayetteville-Perry educators participated in a professional learning day complete with breakout sessions. Katie Kilgour, an adolescent literacy specialist serving regions 14, 15, and 16, led sessions that explored strategies to increase student access to complex texts and provided routines based on Making Thinking Visible and The Power of Making Thinking Visible. The day was a valuable opportunity for teachers to deepen their practice and support student learning.
