On December 11, 2024, the Gifted Advisory Council, including GVESC Assistant Superintendent Emily Crabtree, met at the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce to evaluate progress in gifted education and discuss the implementation of state and district plans. The council focused on aligning the gifted education plan with stakeholder survey results, operationalizing the vision statement, and analyzing survey data presented by Megan Vermillion and Mike Demczyk.
