GVESC staff donated this year to Square One, which supports and connects victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault, and homelessness with resources, while also providing emergency shelter to women and their children in Gallia, Jackson, and Meigs Counties. Dr. Shockley matched the staff's donation to support God’s Hands at Work, which relies on community contributions to assist those in need. They currently serve Gallia, Jackson, Meigs, and Vinton Counties in Ohio, as well as Mason County, West Virginia.
