The OAASFEP Spring Conference was held in Columbus, Ohio, on March 20-22, 2023. The conference provided participants the opportunity to network, collaborate, and share best practices when overseeing state and federal education programs. Emily Crabtree, GVESC Assistant Superintendent, had the opportunity to support Chantelle Carter, Nonpublic Ombudsman for ODE’s Office of Federal Programs, in a conference session supporting Title I services being provided in nonpublic schools. The GVESC contracts with local public school districts in pooling their Title I services. This service allows neighboring school districts the benefit of working together to provide equitable services to students in the area nonpublic schools.
