Ms. Dana Eberts, Wellston City Schools’ Curriculum Director, holds a B.A. in early childhood education from the University of Rio Grande and an M.A. in school administration from Ohio University. Prior to becoming curriculum director, Dana was a 7th grade ELA teacher, Wellston Intermediate Principal, and Bundy Elementary Principal. She notes that through her 22 years in education, “Education has changed immensely but the desire to be a positive influence and have belief in our students and community has remained the same.” Presently, she is working with preschool-5th grade ELA teachers to evaluate the current curriculum. Additionally, she is engaging in vertical conversations with preschool-12th grade team leaders to establish protocols that are consistent throughout the district.
