Karen Boch is joining the Gallia-Vinton ESC family as an administrative associate. Karen began her impressive career at Alexander Local Schools where she was an intervention specialist, an elementary principal, and a curriculum director. In 2007, she was hired as the curriculum director for Wellston City Schools; after three years in that role, Boch was hired as Wellston’s superintendent, a position she held for over eleven years. Throughout her tenure as superintendent, Boch focused on student academic achievement and the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports. Karen’s experience will allow her to serve in many roles at the GVESC. It has also been announced that she will be appointed to the Educators Standards Board by the Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives.
