The GVESC Business Advisory Council combines efforts to advise local school districts on changes and trends in the economy and job market and to advocate for the employment skills seen as most critical to business and industry. Convening quarterly, this year’s meetings were held in September 2022 and January 2023 while future meetings are scheduled for April 2023 and August 2023. These meetings allow business leaders and education leaders to form a partnership and work collaboratively to preparestudents to meet the needs of an ever-changing workforce. The GVESC administrative team meets regularly with area school district leaders to share information from these Business Advisory Council meetings.
