The Gallia-Vinton ESC Business Advisory Council recently gathered at the Bossard Memorial Library in Gallipolis, Ohio, to discuss important topics related to education, business, and summer activities. One of the highlights of the meeting was a student panel who shared their experiences of job shadowing in businesses throughout Gallia County as part of the LEVEL UP GALLIA Program coordinated by the GVESC’s Ed Moore. Attendees appreciated the opportunity to hear directly from the students and learn more about their experiences. Ron Hammond also presented on a pilot program for summer youth employment that aims to provide valuable work experience and skill development opportunities for local youth. Thad Haines gave an informative presentation on AI in education and business, providing valuable insights into how technology can be leveraged in schools and the workplace. The Gallia-Vinton ESC Business Advisory Council is dedicated to promoting collaboration and growth in our service area.
