Gallia-Vinton Education Service Center welcomes Annika Moore, Education Program Specialist, for the Mathematics Office of Learning and Instructional Strategies back to southeastern Ohio. Participants are asked to take the information and strategies learned in the October training and implement. Upon request, participants are encouraged to contact Robin Phillips for coaching and supports. The follow-up training will allow participants to share their experiences and network among one another.
Areas of focus planned for March session:
• Share math talk experiences, student samples, ideas, resources for developing assignments and assessments using DOK levels 1, 2, 3, and 4.
• In grade level teams, design a unit, determine which standards should be taught together, before and after, and deconstruct "heavy" standards.
• Choose 1-2 standards and design tasks for DOK levels 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Who should attend?
Math Teachers, Intervention Specialists, Building Principals, Curriculum Directors, Instructional Coaches, and Representatives from other Education Service Centers.

Participants will receive 6 Contact Hours.
