Delta Kappa Gamma Learns from Dr. Memory™

group of peopleThe GVESC hosted the September meeting of the Delta Kappa Gamma organization for women educators. Membersgathered to learn about the memory-retention system developed by Jerry Lucas, also known as Dr. Memory. The Learning That Lasts™ concept has been taught to tens of millions of people and has a proven track record with verifiable results. Lucas has authored more than 60 books in the field of memory training and learning systems and has made innumerable personal appearances across the United States and around the world. 
Born in Middletown, Ohio, Jerry Lucas was a nationally awarded high school player, national college star at Ohio State, and 1960 gold medal Olympian. He played internationally before later starring as a professional player in the National Basketball Association (NBA).  Lucas says that education has been far more important to him than sports. He has always felt a connection to teaching.  Even the legendary coach Woody Hayes asked him to help his players with learning to build their academic skills.
