Gallia-Vinton ESC, among 17 recipients of Ohio's computer science teaching grant, hosted a Teach CS informational meeting on February 27, 2024. The session guided local teachers seeking computer science endorsements to gain awareness of available pathways and program details. Questions were answered by the Teach CS team, including Emily Crabtree, Thad Haines, and Laurel Marion, aswell as representatives from universities across the state offering the computer science endorsement program. Prospective candidates benefited from direct insight into the application process and had their questions addressed. The event aimed to bring attention to the need for computer science education in the region. The next informational meeting is scheduled for April 17, 2024.
