Superintendents, principals, EMIS coordinators, and attendance officers convened recently to examine Ohio's attendance laws and confront the challenges of chronic absenteeism. Participants engaged in discussions, sharing district strategies and emphasizing the significance of relationships in conveying the importance of attendance to stakeholders.  The next session will be held on April 5, 2024, with GVESC Regional Data Leads Karen Boch, Thad Haines, and Robin Phillips available to assist districts in tackling chronic absenteeism.
